Kateri made me feel at ease at every stage of the process. I was anxious leading up to the birth of my twins, and having Kateri as my doula made a world of difference. When my scheduled induction for a vaginal birth suddenly became a c-section, Kateri kept me calm while asking the OB questions on my behalf that I would not have even thought of. When the c-section (was successful and safe but) had an unexpected complication, Kateri was a listening ear to help me process my emotions. And really, I think that's the essence of what a doula is for: taking what can be a chaotic and emotional situation and making it peaceful and manageable. Kateri is someone who clearly has genuine concern for women, and a warm, calm spirit. I can't recommend her enough!
