After a previous traumatic birth experience and the loss of a child, I felt strongly that my husband and I would need the support of a doula during labor and delivery of our "surprise" 3rd baby. Nikki instantly made us feel at ease, and especially encouraged my husband that he could be the support that I needed with her coaching.
She was supportive throughout the remainder of my pregnancy, educated us on the natural birth process in addition to tips/tricks, and gave advice and encouragement when it was needed.
During and following labor, Nikki supported us both in every way possible, and helped me to achieve my goal of a VBAC with no pain medication (even though induction was required)!
