I could go on and on about Kelly and how much of a difference she made during my second birth experience! I was a Trial of Labor After Cesarean (TOLAC) patient hoping for a VBAC after a fairly traumatic birth with my son back in 2021. I knew this time I wanted a doula and wanted to assemble the best birth team I possibly could. I luckily found Kelly to be highly recommended by other C Section moms and booked her as fast as I could. My husband was a bit skeptical of paying for a doula, but after insisting that this is what I wanted, he agreed. Fast forward to my successful VBAC and a beautiful birth experience with my baby girl, my husband now says Kelly was worth every single penny and HE would not go into labor and delivery again without us having her! He's even told some of his dad friends to hire her when their time comes haha
I was able to get to 8-9 cm unmedicated with Kelly's support and I felt confident every step of the way that she would help me make the best decisions for me and my baby while managing my pain. Even though I was hopeful for an unmedicated birth, because of Kelly I felt sure and happy with my decision to opt for the epidural in order to finish progressing effectively and rest prior to pushing.
Kelly also provides wonderful services like a written birth timeline, checks in regularly via text, and takes BEAUTIFUL photos of the whole experience. Again, we are so happy to have found her and look forward to hiring her for our next pregnancy and birth, and will continue to recommend her to our loved ones. Thank you for everything Kelly!
