I would absolutely recommend Anne-Marie for a postpartum doula. A huge bonus is Anne-Marie is an excellent RMT and I went to her for prenatal massage at her clinic prior to the birth which was a double win: I had a much needed massage and we got to build a relationship. After the birth, Anne-Marie made sure to block out time in her schedule for us, and was extremely flexible when we asked for any adjustments. When she did overnight visits, she would offer to stay the entire time we agreed upon, or offer to leave early if our baby was up at a time that wouldn't be conducive to getting more sleep. I thought this was very thoughtful and appreciated, given we were on a budget. At night she is calm and discreet. She has such a nice presence during those dimly lit hours.
She made helpful suggestions about sleep and feeding, but does not overstep. She lets you and your family lead the way, and takes your cues with tact and skill. She is also extremely responsive and a great communicator, which I value highly.
