Emily was exactly what we needed for the birth of our first child. From the get-go, she had a binder of information for us and was a wealth of knowledge prior to giving birth. I loved how prepared she was, how she desired to get to know us, and how she answered all of our questions to the best of her ability. This showed us that Emily is intentional. Educating is something that means a lot to her and she wants to assist as best she can. Emily helped both my husband and me feel empowered and ready for the birth ahead of us. It felt good to know that she was going to be there helping us advocate for ourselves and also being a voice of encouragement. This showed us that Emily is passionate. She cares about what she does and she wanted me to have my ideal birth. When it was time, Emily was a calming presence in the room and a strong champion for me as I "danced baby girl down" and gave birth to our sweet little love. I absolutely had my ideal birth, and Emily was a huge help in achieving that! I have never felt stronger or more filled with peace as I did on that day. We were blessed to have Emily by our side during such sacred moments.
