Words can't describe how grateful my wife and I were to have Rachel as our Doula. We were introduced to her through San Antonio Birth Doulas when my wife and I found our that our daughter was in breach position. We both felt a little lost, but Rachel made us feel confident that we could turn our baby and she took her time to help teach us exercises to encourage out baby to flip. Thankfully, our baby did turn, however our trials were just beginning. My wife started going into labor, but it was not producing any cervical change, it was Prodromal labor. Rachel was with us for 2 whole days while she was going through all of her labor pains, helping her to cope and motivating us both. There were days where we really felt hopeless, and if we didn't have her, I don't know what we would have done. She ended up being in labor for 5 days before she finally gave birth, and Rachel was there with us too for the delivery and continued to support us and provide us with important knowledge. Unfortunately, the hospital rudely dismissed her after the birth, but she maintained a professional appearance. We felt very uncomfortable with the whole situation and how she was treated.
