There are really no words to express the gratitude that I feel towards Melanie. I came across her about 4 years ago before the birth of my first daughter. I hired Melanie to encapsulate my placenta. When she arrived at the hospital to pick up the placenta I had stalled in labor. Without it being her job she went into full doula mode and helped me progress and achieve a vaginal delivery. With my second I hired Melanie as my doula. I learned so much and was ignorant to so many things related to labor, delivery, post labor, breast feeding, hospital policies and protocols. The list is never ending. Hiring a doula is the best decision I've ever made, it's proven that having a doula will lead to less medical intervention. I was able to achieve an unmedicated birth on my terms! Thank you Melanie for being more than supportive for also being a friend.
