Nicole has been vital and fundamental part of my birth team and pregnancy journey. As first-time parents, my partner and I really valued how Nicole took over a very stressful situation during my early labor and converted it into most memorable and smooth process for me. Having Nicole along with me on the journey was amazing, and all the knowledge and guidance she provided helped me to really advocate for myself in actively shaping the kind of birth I always wanted to have. I had a situation where midwife had recommended labor induction , which was not as per birth plan. I had a number of unexpected bumps along the way, and I felt supported and informed to make the best possible decisions for myself and my baby. Nicole truly went above and beyond during the labour, helping me through contractions, reminding me of the benefits or risks of various procedures at the hospital, helping my partner with his stress, sticking with us both. It is a credit to Nicole that I was able to have a vaginal unmedicated delivery. I’m fairly certain that without her support I could have been pressured into more medical interventions which can be avoided. Despite the hiccups along the way, I was able to have a beautiful birth experience overall, and that was hugely thanks to Nicole. I will always and forever give a huge shout out to the star of my delivery process - "Nicole tawse" ????
