Melanie was absolutely wonderful. I instantly knew that we would get along during the interview process. I felt so comfortable with her from the beginning. She was so helpful with all my questions being a first time mom and regurlarly checked in on me. She really took the time to get to know us and make sure she understood our wants and goals and helped us develop them if we weren't sure what we wanted. I had a long and difficult labor and she brought us peace and comfort. My husband who wasn't really sure why we needed a doula is now telling all his friends that they should get one for their wives when they get pregnant. Melanie is quirky, genuine, supportive, knowledgeable, attentive, and warm-hearted. I am extremely grateful to have had her through the whole process and even now three months postpartum.
