My husband and I decided to enlist the help of a doula pretty late in my pregnancy at my doctor's recommendation to ease my anxiety about the process, and we couldn't be more pleased with our decision to work with Raizel. Not only did she put our minds at ease prior to labor by answering all of our questions and preparing us for what to expect, but also she was such a calming presence during the labor itself. She was so encouraging and helpful in addressing my labor pain with massage/position changes/etc. When my baby was born, there was a complication, and she had to be treated in a hurry. Raizel stayed by my side, which allowed my husband to go with the baby. I was and am still so grateful for her wonderful care and in-depth knowledge. I'm convinced my birth experience went as well as it did because of Raizel's involvement, and if we decide to have any more children, she'll be our first call!
