Danielle was our doula and we couldn’t imagine how our birth would have gone without her. We had sort of a unique experience because my water unexpectedly broke at 35 weeks (the day before our scheduled birth plan meeting!) but Danielle still showed up and was there from the beginning to end. She explained everything to us in detail, explained what was going on in a calm manner especially when things seemed scary and hectic, helped us make informed decisions, and offered us so much support & company.
