Having Melanie as my doula was one of the best decisions I made for my pregnancy and birth. This was my first preganancy and I decided on a hospital birth. I was apprehensive about the hospital but she helped me feel confident and advocate for the birth I wanted. She provided my fiancé and I with education prior to birth so I (and we) could make the best decisions for my baby and I. She provided an amazing amount of support throughout my pregnancy and during birth. She advocated for me and was by our side at the hospital. Because of Melanie, I was able to have a great birth experience despite some unpredictable instances out of anyone's control. I labored at home confidently until it was time to go. She helped me with my birth plan anf overall I felt sooo much better about pregnancy and birth with Melanie’s expertise. She is knowledgeable and truly passionate about what she does. She will be my forever doula.
