Suzanne helped me achieve an incredibly empowering and transformative birth experience, setting the tone for my motherhood journey. I fully attribute my feeling of success, to her expert help. I absolutely hope to be a repeat client of hers and I hold so much appreciation for her entire TDDT team.
When my baby's birth happened, a few weeks earlier than planned, she swooped into action and adjusted her plans. As a first time mom, I did everything I could to convince Suzanne and myself that my baby wasn't going to come for another few weeks (lol)! I didn't realize I was in labor until she stopped in to check on me in the morning, and ended up never leaving my side for the rest of the day. If she were less seasoned, she probably would have had to leave to grab supplies, but she came prepared.
One of the most memorable things Suzanne did during my entire labor, was to help keep my vocalizations at a helpful range. I kept raising my pitch to an "ahhhh" and she would give me a helpful "ohhhh" which was a subtle reminder for me to not strain during contractions and pushing. This saved my strength and channeled my energy more productively. I needed constant reminders and coaching and she recognized this and kept me focused.
She also took beautiful photos throughout my pregnancy, birth and beyond, which I will treasure forever. Suzanne and her team are creating a wonderful experience, end to end, for birthing families in the greater Seattle area. From prenatal appointments and photos, to building a client community where we can meet other parent friends and share resources, they have all the bases covered.
