Michelle is an amazing doula! She attended our birth at home for our first child, and her calm approach and reassurance made a world of difference in my coping with labour. I really do not believe we could have done it without her! Michelle and her partner Heather were also generous with their time in the two prenatal visits and were available 24/7 for any questions we had. Postpartum, Michelle did an additional visit for breastfeeding support, which was so incredibly helpful. Of the midwives and nurses we spoke to, she was the first to discover what was going wrong with latching and showed us a way to fix it. She also helped baby and I to learn to sidelay for breastfeeding - such a game changer when you are sore after delivery. I would absolutely recommend Michelle to any person looking for a doula for support in their birthing experience, for their postpartum recovery, or both!
