We LOVE Carli, are so thankful she was by our side for birthing our first baby and highly recommend her to any family prepping for birth! In my eyes, Carli is a necessity for your birth for mother as well as father (or birthing partner)!
Pre-birth, my husband and I had a lot of questions and she took the time to thoughtfully answer our questions, educate us on what to expect as well as advise us on how to move forward with various recommendations. A great communicator, Carli responds in a timely manner to questions, texts and calls. During birth, there are so many unknowns and Carli brings knowledge and skills for birthing, but beyond that she is patient, attentive, positive but realistic, and her calming presence gave me peace throughout our 33 hour unmedicated-turned-medicated-turned-CSection delivery. She was able to translate what medical options we had to help us think through each decision every step of the way (both pre-delivery and during the changing delivery plans), and had our preferences at the forefront of decision making.
Post birth, she continued to be a positive support emotionally and physically to us. In addition, her support and advisement with breastfeeding put us on a path where we could get the support we needed to exclusively breastfeed! If there is one thing you focus your resources to in prepping for baby, put it towards hiring Carli!
