Our experience with Maria has been excellent. She is always reachable and provides a wealth of resources. Maria came highly recommended and she exceeded our expectations. We had initially hoped to have a natural birth, but we found out near the end of pregnancy that the baby was breech, which basically means c-section if the baby doesn't turn. Maria came over immediately and gave emotional support as well as help with trying to convince baby to turn. We ended up having a scheduled c-section and honestly weren't sure that we needed a doula in that situation. We decided to have Maria come to the hospital, and it was the best decision we made. After the birth, she came to our house and provided lactation support. All in all, hiring Maria was the best money we spent. She provided emotional support, extensive knowledge, and physical, hands-on help.
