Maria was absolutely amazing. This was our first baby and I truly don't believe I would have been able to stick to my unmedicated birth plan without her assistance. Her calming presence, and wonderful tool bag, got me through a very painful labor. (Back contractions are terrible.) my husband and I went back and forth on hiring a doula and we were so happy we did so! Maria also continued to support us after birth. As new parents it was just what we needed.
