My family and I had the good fortune of having Dara's loving support in the birth and the postpartum period of my second child. My birth was fast and intense. When Dara arrived I felt a huge sense of relief. She helped to instruct my husband on how to care for me during my son's whirlwind birth. Her presence at the birth helped to ground me in the moment and helped relieve my anxious mind.
Dara is calm and extremely kind. In postpartum, she was focused on empowering me and truly serving the needs of our growing family. She is incredibly informed about breastfeeding and was able to help me with engorgement, baby's latch and making the experience more enjoyable for me, my baby, and my 3 year old daughter. She encouraged me to lean into all the things I had accomplished and was "doing beautifully", in her words, and gave me tips on things that I needed help with or just wanted to talk through. She did all of this with a loving and non-judgemental presence that continued to put me at ease and make me feel confident as a mother of two.
Throughout my whole experience she made me feel seen, well taken care of and so loved.
