We had a wonderful experience with Nicole as our doula. We chose her to support us because she seemed down to earth, knowledgeable, and we had a good connection. Her prenatal appointments offered a lot of information in a relaxed setting and gave us the space to ask questions, and she helped us to create a birth plan. Nicole was an amazing support during labour and birth; she did everything from accupressure on my feet during contractions, keeping us hydrated, to helping us leave the house with everything we needed when I started pushing at home and wanted to get to the hospital. It was so great to have an extra support person there, especially someone who would gently remind me to listen to my body. I think having her with us allowed me to achieve my goal of an unmedicated vaginal birth and we are forever grateful that she supported us in welcoming our baby girl!
