In the weeks leading up to my son's birth, she checked in with me regularly to see how I was progressing and helped me better understand some of what my midwives were telling me when my amniotic fluid levels dropped. She guided and coached me and my husband through active labor and was a strong presence throughout the four hours of (unmedicated) pushing - she was an essential part of our team and I am so grateful to have worked with her!
