Testimonial for Barbie French, CD(DONA), CPD(RI)
As a Dad my review will likely be a bit different then those before mine.
My Wife and I had the pleasure of Barbie French being our Doula. Ill give everyone the long story short. I cant say enough good things about Barbie. As a doula her ability to listen, understand and action plan based on your personal needs for your upcoming birth was astounding.
Amazingly as well, her ability to execute/help execute techniques and methods discussed was above and beyond.
Last but not least, this woman’s patience and support. She was with us every step of the way. Whether it was scheduled visits, impromptu middle of the night calls/ texts and as expected with us for the whole birth.
What was not expected(by me) was Barbie meeting us @ triage for 830am on Sunday 12/4 and didn't leave until about 11pm on Monday 12/5 when we finally settled in after the birth of our daughter.
Honestly I could keep going.
We are more than fortunate to have met Barbie and to have her been apart of the birth of our Daughter and hope she can join us for any future births.
What Barbie brought to the table could never be put in words or described. This isn't a woman who is “just” a Doula, she is the embodiment of a Doula. She put her everything into what became our everything in a single moment, and for that I am forever thankful of Barbie French.
Hopefully this review speaks volumes to the woman and person Barbie French is.
