As a first time mom my husband and I decided to hire a doula because we were both overwhelmed and had no idea what to expect with pregnancy and giving birth. From the moment we hired Tanner and had our first meeting we both instantly felt more at ease about the process. Tanner walked us through everything we can expect, tips and tricks, and had us think about what we wanted out of the labor process. We truly could not have done it without her. Tanner was incredibly patient, kind, helpful and caring. She was able to help my husband help me through the laboring process. I can truly say it was an amazing experience that I remember and look back on with such joy. I never would have thought that labor could be calm and joyful instead of stressful and traumatic. But I know for a fact that Tanner is the reason everything went so smoothly. I cannot recommend her enough and we will have her be our doula again in the future if we are blessed with another baby.
