I interviewed 5 different doulas before choosing Katie, and I was SO happy with my choice to work with her! She is warm, friendly, welcoming, and I love her evidence-based approach. I instantly connected with her over our video consult and initial meetings. My birth experience was long and deeply challenging, but I was consistently amazed by how Katie showed up for me and my partner as things progressed. My partner was originally skeptical about needing a doula, and he told me afterward that Katie didn't replace him at all - just helped him support me in so many additional ways. He loved working with her and having her there to help us make difficult decisions. The two of them together made me feel supported, loved, and deeply cared for during a birth that did not go the way I had intended. I was constantly in awe of the way they used therapeutic methods (massage balls and hip squeezes especially) to alleviate my pain, especially when I was laboring unmedicated.
