Because of that connection, I was able to surrender during one of the most intense experiences of my life.
Prior to pregnancy, I believe that a woman should not have to transition through the veil of labor and delivery alone. Through my own birth experience, I learned it is absolutely necessary that a woman be supported through that beautifully-difficult endeavor.
