I can't even begin to say how wonderful my experience with Laura was. If you're your wondering if you should hire a duola don't hesitate, I waited until my third trimester and I wish I had hired one sooner.

I had originally reached out to Sarah Knight and because of my guess date, she brought Laura on to my team. Like I said I hired them late into my third tri and I wish I had done it sooner. I clearly did not realize all of the support that they could provide me so early on. Even though Laura was technically considered Sarah's backup I would have never guessed it based on her commitment to communication response time, reaching out about appointments I had with the doctor, providing extra information that could help me research my gestational diabetes and so much more.

I ended up having an induction and Laura was amazing. I was amazed by how the dynamic in the room with the doctors changed the minute she walked in. She helped keep everyone focused on my wishes when they were possible, helped with me control my pain level and she talked through a lot of things that at the time were very scary for me. While I had the support of my husband, Laura provided so much more in a very different way and I'm so grateful and glad that I hired her and Sarah.

Laura is truly one of the most kind people I had gotten to know over the time of my pregnancy and I still look back and am so happy with my experience. My only regrets in this whole process are that I didn't hire my duola team earlier and I wish I would have written this testimonial (9) months ago after I had my baby because I really do believe that without Laura by my side on the day of delivery I would have had a very different experience.
