My partner and I would recommend Amy to anyone interested in hiring a doula. Amy is clearly extremely passionate about and dedicated to her work and is warm and professional. She was always respectful of our priorities and our philosophy while also ready to provide more information and resources when we wanted them. We chose to have a hospital-based birth using an epidural, and while my labor progressed incredibly quickly and we skipped the whole at-home early labor phase, she was a valuable member of the team at the hospital. She kept me comfortable and in optimal positions even while my epidural was on board. She worked well with the hospital staff during labor, and her pre and post birth visits were informative and reassuring. She was very inclusive of my partner throughout our time together and made sure he was taken care of, too. She made us aware of resources in the Tucson community we weren’t aware of and was so prompt and responsive you’d never know she wasn’t located in central Tucson. We are very glad she was a part of our birth experience!
