Having Barbie be a part of our birth experience was one of the best decisions we have ever made as first time parents. My husband and I were on the fence about needing a doula, and after much research we decided to move forward with Barbie. Barbie is extremely knowledgeable, supportive, and nonjudgemental. She helped educate us prior to birth, and was a wonderful advocate for us during. Our birth was absolutely nothing that we hoped or planned for, and when we were faced with a c section, Barbie was there at 4am and helped us stay calm. She provided support to my husband outside of the OR and prepped him for what was to come, and she held my hand in the OR when I needed her. She captured the most amazing photos of our daughter coming into the world and helped her latch latch while we were in recovery. Although our birth was different that we imagined, it was still the most amazing experience thanks to her. If you are on the fence we promise you won’t regret it!!
