My husband and I are so happy we hired MaryBeth as our Doula. MaryBeth helped us so much along the way - from the early pregnancy questions to the labor and the postpartum period. While birth is unpredictable, we were able to put together a birth plan with MaryBeth that covered all bases - some I was unaware of until MaryBeth thoroughly explained the birthing process. As my due date approached, I became a bit anxious, but knowing that we had an advocate made me more at ease. Once my contractions started, I reached out to MaryBeth and she guided me through. After laboring at home for a few hours, I went to the hospital where MaryBeth later met us. We were in communication the whole time- even at 2am. I had a made up scenario as how my birthing experience would go, and while I almost opted for an epidural (I did not want one), MaryBeth was able to talk me through the pain. If MaryBeth wasn't there, I am 99% sure I would have gotten the epidural and would have been upset about it later. I would recommend MaryBeth 10 times over and will be sure to reach out again for our next child.
