The first initial meeting with Lizzy I hired her on the spot with no hesitation! She truly loves what she does and believes that every birth is sacred. She cared so deeply about me as a mother, my husband as a father, our baby and the birth I dreamed of having! She is so passionate about making sure your birth experience is positive and that you have the right support throughout the entire process. Every appointment she educated us on every.little.detail which truly set us up for success going into it. She not only supported me but made sure my husband was equipped and ready (something that isn’t talked about much- husbands need to be prepared for labor and birth!). I strongly believe a doula is a MUST for every birth! Someone to talk you through each contraction, remind you to breathe and relax, offer counter pressure, pull your hair back, get you into the right optimal positions to deliver your baby - and so much more! We absolutely love Lizzy and will have her apart of all of our future births! By far the best decision we made with our birth process was hiring her!
