Trina was warm, kind, and calm, and a lovely addition to my birth support team. She held space for both me and my husband to discuss our hopes and fears about my birth with her, and offered her understanding and reassurance. Trina was willing to help support us however we needed her in the moment- whether that was watching our 2-year-old, or staying at my side during labor. She's also experienced a variety of births herself, so was able to relate to our first experience in the hospital, and second experience at home. I also appreciated that she took the time to meet me at a park for a playdate before I hired her. It's so nice to get together in person to make sure the connection feels good for something so intimate! I'd highly recommend her. :)
My husband appreciated having another support person available to us, not only to support me, but to also support him, as he was a bit concerned about possibly having another problem or hospital transfer in our second pregnancy. My husband's words: "She's calm and kind and gentle."
