Hannah Monroe is worth her weight in gold. We met Hannah briefly for a consult and immediately knew she was the right doula for us. She radiated a calm, and peaceful presence that was both professional, and knowledgeable. Our home birth plans did not work out due to medical complications so I was induced early at the hospital. Hannah did not miss a beat, she came in with us and stayed for the entire labor. Her support was irreplaceable and we cannot say enough good things about the experience given the circumstances. Hannah knew exactly what to do, and kept a light hearted attitude while helping guide through positioning, breathing and keeping me on track through contractions. She also ensured that my husband was comfortable, engaged and knew how he could help in every stage. She talked us through different options for my birthing process and decisions we had to make, demonstrating a strong knowledge base and filling out any holes there may have been when needing to give consent. We are very happy with our decision to use Hannah as our doula and would recommend her highly for any birth setting.
