Where do I begin ??? My name is Cabrielle and Sofia helped me with my labor for over 20 hours!!! I started going into active labor at 4 pm August 31st and didn't deliver my little Angel until September 1st at 1:57 pm . We started at Treasure Valley Midwives where I wanted to deliver. She helped set up the decorations I brought for the room as well as some of her decorations and essential oils that we talked about her bringing prior . She NEVER left our side . At the midwives clinic, Sofia applied hours of counter pressure and when I was in the bath , poured water over my back to help me . She spoke words of encouragement and gave me reassurance . At 11:50 we got the news that I needed to be transferred the hospital , which was terrifying and not in my birth plan. I forgot to mention she was at a birth prior for over 12 hours I believe and so this poor women hadn't really gotten any rest after the previous birth she had just attended but stayed in high spirits . We slept a little at the Hospital and she went home for a couple hours. She returned the next morning and was so positive . The room I was in had no AC and she was trying to help me In any way possible . Once she was born and my daughter had to be taken to NICU, she stayed with me so my boyfriend could be with our daughter . She brought me food and reassured me everything would be okay. Everything ended up working out and I got to hold my daughter and keep her with me after only being in NICU for an hour. Thankful for her love and support and when I have another child she will be the first one I call for support . She was amazing all through the pregnancy and I wouldn't reccomend ANYONE else .
