From the moment I met Kelly it felt like we had been friends for a lifetime. Her confidence and encouraging spirit gave me the confidence to follow through with the kind of birth my husband and I had been planning. I'm the first in my family to have hired a doula, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Sunshine Doulas are not only experts in their field but also some of the most friendly, down-to-earth women I've ever met. Kelly arrived at the hospital right after we did and was by my side the entire labor and delivery. She helped with pain management and offered suggestions of different laboring positions to try - all of which were very helpful. She took beautiful pictures during labor and delivery, freeing my husband to stay by my side and encourage me and watch his first child being born. After the birth, Kelly stuck around to answer any questions we had, to make sure we were recovering well and to take a few family photos. We couldn't be happier with our experience and postpartum follow up visit with Sunshine Doulas.
