We had a great experience working with Rosa! As first-time parents without family in the area, it was important to us to have additional support before, during, and after the birth, and Rosa came through for us in every way. She was a wealth of information in the weeks preparing for the birth, and an amazing support during the birth. I had a long labor in the hospital with a number of medical interventions and complications, and Rosa was there the entire time for physical and emotional support, as well as advice. My husband and I appreciated her experience when making decisions - it was invaluable having someone present (other than the medical team) who had so much experience with childbirth to be able to talk things through and get that additional perspective. Rosa patiently answered our questions and addressed our concerns when we met in the weeks before the birth, and also provided helpful hints and advice in our meeting in the weeks after the birth. Additionally, one of the values for us in hiring a doula was for the connections with other resources in the childbirth community, and Rosa can provide these as well. Definitely recommend Rosa as a doula!
