Testimonial for Stacy Higginbotham
I really enjoyed having Stacy as my doula for the birth of my first child. I didn't know what to expect especially when things turned out to go the opposite direction I was hoping for. My water broke early before I was dilated at all and I ended up with a very long labor and was faced with the choice of pitocin and getting the epidural which I wanted to avoid. Stacy was there through the entire thing from my 11:30pm water breaking texts to see what I should do, to walking the birth of my baby 2 days later. She gave the best massage, helped me make the very difficult decision to finally have pitocin and epidural, and she took great pictures of the birth of my baby. I just also felt very supported having her there.
