We hired Lizzy to be the doula for my first birth and it is one of the best decisions we've ever made. I was able to have an unmedicated hospital birth and I really believe it would not have been possible without having Lizzy by my side! Being a first time mom, the prenatal appointments were so helpful to prepare us in understanding what to expect at the hospital and to ensure our preferences were met once we were there. Lizzy coached me through every contraction, rubbing my back and providing me with the words of encouragement I needed during one of the most physical and emotional events of my life. She made the experience so calming and relaxing, also helping tto take the pressure off of my husband.
