As the supporting partner in our home birth, I was originally reluctant if we needed a doula. I am so glad that I was able to see past my own reluctance that was based purely on my own lack of education with home births, because having Mikki at our home birth was incredible. She was such an integral part of our team and her ability to jump in and fill in the gaps was such an asset. Her calm, nurturing and attentive nature shaped our birth into an experience that we will never forget.
