I can't say enough about our experience with Kelly Sunshine. I will start by saying that my husband was a skeptic of the whole doula idea, but after our birth he is the first one to say that he feels everyone should have a Kelly Sunshine at their birth. I went into my birth with a very clear idea of what my ideal birth plan would be and kelly made sure every point was executed exactly to my wishes. Kelly is the right combination of warm, motherly and kind, but also gets down to business, YOU CAN DO IT, encouragement that you need when things get real. She trusts the birth process and the women's ability to birth, she lets you do you BUT also knows exactly when and where you need counter pressure or words of encouragement. We are done having babies, but Kelly makes me want more because I will spend the rest of my life wishing I could experience the birth we had with her again.
