I received Shee'Lee's information from my sister in law, who received the information from her sister! Contacting Shee'Lee and taking her early pregnancy and childbirth classes were the best thing I could have done for my pregnancy. From the very beginning Shee'Lee empowered me to advocate for myself and for my baby. She encouraged me to do my own research, form my own opinions, and make the best decisions for my baby. She taught me how to trust myself and the process of birth. Most importantly, she taught my husband how to be the greatest coach imaginable. Without Shee'Lee and her classes my birth experience would not have been the same. Due to several unforseen complications, I did not get to have the birth that I had envisioned, however we were still able to utilize her teachings and make the best of the card we were dealt. In addition to her pregnancy and child birth classes, her information on breastfeeding and postpartum made me feel ready to take on the challenge. Thanks to Shee'Lee I have just hit 8 months breastfeeding! It hasn't been easy, especially since returning to work, but I am reminded by Shee'Lee's teachings that I am doing the best thing for my baby.
