Where to even begin! We were SO lucky to have Carli support and guide us throughout this wild journey in bringing our little baby boy on to this planet! After the exciting news of finding out we were pregnant, anxiety kicked in as I had no idea how to navigate through this journey as both my husband and I are from Europe. We were introduced to Carli by a mutual friend and let me tell you it was the best decision ever! From explaining all birth options and guiding me throughout my 'birth plan wishes'( which I didn't even knew I had) and eventually supporting both me and my husband throughout every contraction in the hospital ( I especially loved how she made my husband feel so included + Carli knew exactly when and where she had to jump in and help me through these pains when my husband coudn't). After we brought our baby home Carli checked in both over text and in person to follow up on (breast)feeding, share some tips/tricks and advice and just to hang out and cuddle with our boy.
Because of Carli we felt educated, empowered and supported. When the medical staff proposed certain interventions she was able to help us understand the pro's and cons so we could make all decisions ourselves and weigh out risks and benefits. I truly believe that my labor and delivery experience wouldn't have been this amazing if she hadn't been part of my team. I will forever be grateful for all her work and would hire her over and over again + will refer her to anyone who is willing to listen. Thank you Carli!!!
