Testimonial for Stacy Higginbotham
I hired Stacy a few years ago to be my doula for my now 3 yo. My labor progressed so fast (about 5.5 hrs total) that she was only at my house for about 5 minutes before we left to head for the birth center an hour away. My husband, sister and myself were in my van, Stacy followed in her car and my mom and oldest two kids followed in my Mom's car. Unfortunately Stacy missed my birth because my son was born in the van about 10 minutes before we reached the birth center. Stacy was a big help to my mom and older children though helping them find out where to go to get to where I was.
Because she was so helpful even though she was only there for such a limited time I decided to have her be my doula again with my little one who was born about a week ago. We knew he would likely come very fast since my labors keep getting shorter (this one was only 3 hrs) so I decided to have him at home. I don't like much physical touch in labor so I asked Stacy to mostly take pictures and use supportive words of which she did a wonderful job!
