We hired Kelly within a few weeks of learning we were pregnant because I knew I wanted her apart of our birth and that she fills up quickly!! Throughout my pregnancy, Kelly supported us through an unexpected provider change that ultimately led us to homebirth. She was amazing at offering us encouragement and periodic check ins to see how I was doing. She met with us around 36 weeks and gave us so much helpful information for birth, postpartum, and newborn care. Our son came early @ 38 weeks- my water broke in the middle of the night. We called her and she arrived soon after my contractions were gaining intensity. She stepped right in and helped me with different labor positions, hip squeezes (amazing!!), belly lifts, and breathing. She was such an encouragement to me through each contraction. When I got to the "transition" phase, my husband was behind me and she was in front of me, holding my hands, and talking me through it...it was such amazing emotional support for me!! Our whole experience with Kelly was just amazing, I really believe she was the reason why I achieved an unmedicated birth. There were many moments I felt like giving in but her expertise & knowledge of physiological birth is what helped get me through. We can't recommend Kelly enough!!
