She is very practical and knowledgeable, while also being incredibly caring, calm, and grounded. I felt supported through the whole process: from the prep work of early meetings, to phone and text conversations during my induction where she helped me work through decisions and questions to ask, to her showing up in the middle of the night when I finally went into active labor. Whether it was providing laboring positions, distraction techniques, or just straightforward acknowledgement of how I was feeling, having her with me was invaluable.
