I absolutely loved my birth experience, and Laura played a critical role in making that happen! As first time parents, my partner and I felt that we wanted someone experienced to help guide us through the process and be there as a support for both of us during the birth (to help take some pressure off my partner!). Laura was great at checking in regularly leading up to the birth and providing me with tips on birthing positions and how we could prepare for labor. During the actual birth she was a calm and reassuring presence, and gave me the phsyical and mental support I needed to make it through the process. Laura was always very professional but warm, and was very accomodating and respectful to make sure that she was following our birth wishes. She never imposed her own opinions, but made sure I had the information and knowledge to make an educated decision. I would highly recommend Laura as a doula!
