Marcia was the best investment I made during my second birth experience!
My first birth was a very difficult (traumatic even!) cesarean delivery. I knew I didn't want to repeat that when I found I'm out I was pregnant with my second child. Marcia took her time getting to know my husband and I before labor, and what our wishes for this birth experience were.
During labor, Marcia helped me advocate for myself when my doctor was pushing me to do a repeat c-section. With all her experience, she knew what to do in every situation. She helped rotate my sunny side up baby by getting me into different positions during labor, reminded me how to breathe through my contractions, and coached me through pushing. I ended up getting basically everything I had hoped for in my birth plan, including an unmedicated VBAC! It was truly a beautiful birth, and Marcia was instrumental in that. Without her, I'm afraid I would've had another c-section. My husband and I loved her and she is worth her weight in gold.
