If you’re looking to hire a doula (and you should because they are angels on earth), BARBIE IS THE BEST! My husband and I reached out to Barbie after she came as a recommendation from our doctor and scheduled a time to meet with her over coffee where we immediately knew she was the perfect fit for our family. She is a wealth of knowledge from her years of experience as a doula and mother of 3, she’s extremely personable and kind, supportive, available, flexible - the list of redeeming qualities goes on and on. Barbie was always just a phone call or text away throughout my entire pregnancy, she kept in touch and kept us informed throughout each stage, came over for educational classes before birth, helped us make informed decisions and create a birth plan, and was the absolute perfect support person at the hospital! Most of the staff at Women & Infants knew her and loved her and constantly reminded us how lucky we were to have her, but we already knew. :) We’ve also met with her and have stayed in touch with her after our son was born - she truly is the best! We will 100% hire her again!
