Heather is wonderful! She ended up being my back-up doula when I went into labor and my doula was at another birth. So I didn't meet Heather until I was in active labor. I went into active labor quickly and she arrived right away to the birth center and immediately was by my side helping me through contractions. I felt so supported by her energy and hands-on comfort. My midwives were later surprised to learn she was my back-up and assumed we already knew each other! She has such a positive energy and supportive presence. She was so encouraging and I don't think I could have gotten my unmedicated VBAC without her! She jumped in right away to do whatever was needed and was also very supportive of my husband. She took great notes so I have a record of my labor and came to my postpartum doula visit along with my original doula. She is also very knowledgeable about comfort measures and positioning. I would highly recommend Heather!
