I was on my second birth journey recently and I had high expectations and a specific vision for what I wanted. I interviewed several doulas, and Morgan was THE one. She is the perfect package Doula + photographer all in one! I loved my experience because she is very knowledgeable about birth, and I have to say, I know a lot about it myself from tons of research but I still learned a lot more from her. I really wanted a doula who could also photograph great photos and take videos during the birth. She was able to be both doula and photographer. She guided my partner and made sure I was nourished, and that everything went smoothly. We also had very helpful sessions prior to the birth. They were very long sessions too, which prepped me well for the big day. I never felt like our sessions felt rushed. I felt comfortable asking as many questions that came to mind even though this was my second birth experience. She really dug deep into my likes, dislikes, preferences etc and was very personable. Also she is the most organized doula! I love working with professionals who are organized, knowledgable, warm and friendly, and Morgan checked off all these boxes. She came with an agenda each time we met, and I felt like I was talking to a friend because that is how comfortable she made me feel. She's genuine and wants to get to know you as a person too. She’s also pretty crunchy, and that’s exactly what I was looking for as well- somebody who aligned with my views and perspectives on health and wellness.
