After chatting with a handful of birth doulas, we instantly knew Barbie was the perfect fit for us after chatting with her. She has a way of making you feel like shes known you forever; easy to talk to, genuine, and truly cares about supporting you the best way possible. She never left our side during our entire journey from pregnancy, to labor & delivery, and post partum. She comes with a wealth of knowledge. During our prenatal visits, she discussed what to expect in depth, reviewed various movement techniques for optimal birth positions for baby, and asked how we would like to be best supported during L&D. She offered great referrals for services we were intested in; prenatal massage therapists, acpunturists, chiropracters, lactation consultants, etc. All who turned out to also be an amazing part of our journey as well. She was just a text or phone call away with any questions during pregnancy and early labor. During labor & delivery, she assessed our progress & needs and cotinued to offer various suggestions to help ensure a smooth, peaceful environment including breath work, positions, and movements. During post partum, she has maintainted communication, assitsed with insurance reimbursement paperwork, and followed up to ensure we were all adjusting ok. We couldnt have brought our little baby girl into this world without her support!!!
