Testimonial for Stacy Higginbotham
Once my husband and I learned we were expecting, I knew I wanted a doula. I wanted someone I could go to with questions, someone that could help with the beginnings of labor, and help with pain management during active labor. I also wanted someone who would advocate for us, and be a calm and rational mind in the case of any kind of emergency.
Stacy was all of these things for us.
She helped us mindfully pack our hospital bag, and not overpack. When it came time, she helped me understand my contractions, gave me suggestions on what to do on my own, and helped us decide when it was time to go to the hospital. At the hospital, she was calm and relaxing and was the perfect support to my husband and I to get through.
